Ranil Wickremasinghe emphasized that the Government has not provided any of the two solutions so far and the people are outraged at the current crisis in the country adding that the people's anger will have a detrimental effect on Parliament and national politics.

He alarmed that the imminent food shortage is another major problem faced by the people, and according to the sources, received, there will be a severe food shortage in the country by the time of the Sinhala New Year.

Mr. Ranil Wickremasinghe while pointing out said that according to reports from many parts of the country, this season's harvest is about 60% compared to previous season and we should think about the political situation if such a situation erupts and if an explosion occurs among antagonized people, that explosion will affect the Government and the Parliament.
